What is Tooth Extraction?
Tooth extraction is a dental procedure that involves the removal of a tooth from its socket in the bone. While we always strive to save natural teeth whenever possible, there are situations where extraction is the best option for preserving your oral health.
Common reasons include impacted teeth, severe decay, infections, overcrowding, or preparing for orthodontic treatment. Extractions are often necessary to relieve pain, prevent the spread of infection, or create a healthier alignment for your teeth.
