Dr. Brian Topping, DDS, FICOI, PC

Dr. Brian R. Topping, DDS, FICOI, PC received his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from Ball State University. He continued his education at Indiana University School of Dentistry in Indianapolis. Dr. Topping began practicing dentistry in 1998 and opened his own office in 2002, in Nappanee, Indiana. Dr. Topping believes in constantly improving his accreditation’s and education to maintain the highest level of care for his patients.

Dr. Topping is a member of The Academy of General Dentistry, American Orthodontic Society, International Congress of Oral Implantology, Misch International Implant Institute, and the Nappanee Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Topping is also a strong believer in giving back to the community. He is on the Board of Directors for Faith Mission in Elkhart. Faith Mission is a homeless shelter, serving those underprivileged in Elkhart and the surrounding counties. He has also traveled to Mexico and Haiti on Dental Mission Trips.

Dr. Topping is a member of the American Motorcycling Association and enjoys riding motorcycles with his son Grant. He is married to a “hometown” girl, Stephanie Topping (formerly Swihart) and they also have a daughter Arianna.

Dr. Topping’s hobbies include rugby, hunting, fishing, water skiing, and any other outdoor activities.

Dr. Topping works primarily out of the Nappanee Dental Office.

Dr. Jeffrey A. Swihart, DDS

Dr. Swihart grew up in Wakarusa, Indiana and graduated from NorthWood High School. He went on to complete his Biology degree from Valparaiso University in 2006, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Swihart then received his doctorate from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2010.

He has had specialized training in Invisalign and Implants and is member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. In order to provide the highest quality of dentistry to his patients, Dr. Swihart takes many hours of continuing education.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife Holly, son Brayson, and daughter Bailey. He also loves reading, working out, and watching Florida Gators Football and IU Basketball.

Dr. Swihart works primarily out of the Elkhart Dental Office.

Dr. Phillip A. Jakubowicz, DDS

Dr. Phillip Jakubowicz (“Dr. J.”) is from Middlebury, Indiana and graduated from Northridge High School. He then attended Trine University, where he double majored and graduated Magna Cum Laude. After completing his undergraduate degree, he received his Doctorate from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2013.

His previous work history includes serving as a Navy dentist for 6 years with tours in South Carolina, Okinawa, Japan, and San Diego, California. He continues to serve as the 180th fighter wings dentist in the Ohio Air National Guard.

He has completed additional training in implant placement, 3″ molar extractions (wisdom teeth), Invisalign, and continues to take advantage of any educational opportunity available to provide services to better serve his patients.

He loves spending time with his wife Brandi and his two children Stella and Boden. He is an avid DIYer/woodworker, and he also enjoys exercising and playing board games. Dr. Jakubowicz works out of the Middlebury Dental Office and looks forward to serving the community that he is so happy to again be a part of.

Dr. Bradley K. Miller, DDS

Dr. Miller grew up in Niles Michigan, and attended Michigan State University for his undergrad education, and the University of Michigan for dental school. In his free time, he enjoys being with family and friends, playing tennis, pickleball and golf as well as relaxing.

After practicing and training outside of Michigan, Dr. Miller is excited to be back home and be a part of Topping Dental Group!

Dr. Miller works out of the Nappanee Dental Office.
