Before you visit one of our Topping Dental Group locations, we want to make sure that you are prepared. Here’s what you need to do before you arrive:

Prepare Your Paperwork & Information

You can download our new patient packet so that it’s completed before you come, or you can fill out the paperwork in our office. Either way, you need to bring with you your state issued ID and insurance information.

Verify Your Dental Insurance

We do not accept all insurance carriers, so you need to verify with both your insurance company and the Topping Dental office of your choice that your insurance will be accepted.

During Your First Visit

At any of our Topping Dental Group locations you can expect to have a warm and welcoming experience with our entire staff. We know that healthy teeth start with health gums so here’s what you can expect on your first visit with us.

We Listen To Your Thoughts and Concerns

At your first dental visit, we take time to listen to your concerns. We want you to know that we value you as a person and your voice matters.

We Look at your Entire Oral Health

During your first dental exam we will perform a comprehensive wellness visit with a comfortable cleaning (in the absence of periodontal disease), x-rays, and a personalized comprehensive screening on your overall gum health. At this visit we will be watching for signs of decay and other common dental problems as well as overall gum health. Remember we’ve got you covered with all the routine services you need to prevent and resolve tooth decay and maintain healthy, beautiful teeth all year long as well as all the comprehensive dental treatment you may need going forward.

We Discuss Our Findings And Answer Any Questions That You May Have

Your health is your choice. The doctor will explain the dental findings and then will provide a treatment plan if any potential or current problems are found.

After Your First Visit

When your first visit is complete and your dental concerns have been addressed, if needed, a printed plan will be given with specific treatment needed as well as your financial investment. You may then schedule any appointments recommended by the dentist.

At this time you will also receive a text message from our staff asking you to leave a review of your experience! If you had a pleasant experience, our staff and other people looking for a dentist in their area will want to know!

Yes, we do! For all new Topping Dental patients, we are offering $100 off a new patient comprehensive visit or $250.00 off full orthodontic placement.. Just mention it when you call to schedule your appointment.

What should you bring to your first dentist appointment?

Simply bring your driver’s license and insurance card. If you’d like to bring the new patient forms, you can do this as well!

Will I get a dental cleaning on my first visit or is it just a consultation?

A new patient comprehensive visit will include all cavity detecting x-rays, a panoramic x-ray that shows below the gumline x-rays and a cleaning unless you require a deeper cleaning and if so you would be scheduled to come back in the near future for that cleaning

Do you offer payment plans if I don’t have insurance?

We offer Care Credit as our only payment option. (you can pre-apply by going to carecredit.com.)
