Yes, we take x-rays of your mouth as needed to make sure that there are no issues happening below the surface of your teeth.
How long do dental cleaning appointments last?
We pride ourselves on having an efficient, yet quick appointment. Most appointments can be finished in 30 minutes, but we recommend that you plan for 60 minutes in case we find any problems that need to be addressed.
Is it safe to have a dental cleaning appointment if I’m pregnant?
Absolutely! In fact, we recommend that you have a dentist appointment while pregnant and soon after giving birth. The mouth tells us a lot about your overall health and is the first step in having a healthy lifestyle.
How long do I have to wait to eat or drink after receiving fluoride treatment?
Do not eat or drink for 30 minutes after your appointment, and avoid coffee, tea, and dark liquids for 6 hours. The longer you can go without eating or drinking, the better your fluoride treatment will work on your teeth. After 6 hours, you don’t need to avoid any food or drinks.
